The Power

The power went out sometime last night and my CPAP stopped working. Normally I can sleep without if the power should happen to go out, but not last night. I do not know why I could not sleep. I would fall asleep then wake up. The pitch blackness and silence seemed to be too much for me, At some point I thought to take off my under wear, maybe because I was hot. Turns out, I was dreaming up to that point.

The power was out though. The other stuff was some sort of a nightmare. Think I fell asleep once more before the power came back on. When it did I put on my CPAP and went to sleep. I find it hard to sleep without the CPAP.

One of the reasons I kept waking up was trouble breathing, I think. Could have been just the nightmares.

Tomorrow I pick up the moving van. Then I’m supposed to load up and head up to South Carolina. I am nervous.
