Today I cycled 15.72 miles, average speed 9.68 mph, and I burn 1090 calories. My time was 1:37:47.  I had  more energy, more power, I was stronger. I peddled faster and longer. My time was improved. At this moment I feel great. Not nearly as worn out as I was yesterday. My body seem to be adjusting to the exercise. My metabolism is up. I am burning meals so fast it’s not funny. I am eating good meals. Within two hours I am hungry again. Not just wanting to eat but, needing to eat. I am not depriving myself by eating ridiculously small meals. I still need to better my diet.

My back had been really sore. Today I took pain meds. They were prescribed for me after my back surgery. I have one left. It could be the reason I am feeling better today. I had not been taking any pain medication, even with the increase in exercise. I have also started taking a supplement called Resveratrol. It is supposed to repair age related cell damage and restore youthful DNA, and boost energy production ins cells. I really hope this has something to do with how much better I feel today. I do feel like I am getting stronger. It wont be long before I begin to shrink in size. I am definitely burning enough calories.

The sabbath is in two hours so I may go for a short bike ride when it ends tomorrow evening. I want to get in another workout because I didn’t do anything on Wednesday.

I have been riding without  a helmet. They usually run about $15 at walmart. I was going to wait til next month when I had more money to buy one. However, I nearly got hit by a car today so went ahead a bought one at my turnaround point, which was at Target. I made a mistake. I was attempting to cross a busy street at a point where there was no signal lights. It was stupid and wont happen again. Til next time.

8th Work Out

Today’s workout consisted of 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, 2.5 miles, 333 calories, heart rate was around 140. 100 crunches on a  machine, 36 pounds of weight.
