It is now December 2008 and the election for a new President of the United States is over. Barack Hussein Obama is now the president-elect. An historic event has taken place. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “dream” has taken on a reality. It has been an emotional, almost spiritual, experience with Obama supporters crying with joy. Some have even elevated Obama’s rise to the Presidency as comparable to the coming of the Messiah. They believe that change is coming and it will be good.

Those who did not vote for Obama view the results like the title of this article: The “abomination of desolation.” They believe that Obama is a secret Muslim, a socialist, a friend of terrorists, and an advocate for every extreme liberal agenda possible. They believe that change is coming and it will be bad.

Regardless of your opinion of the election and of President-elect Obama, this is not the “abomination of desolation.” Yes, it is probable that an Obama administration will turn this country away from traditional values. The path may include conservative points of view being assaulted by radical elements in the most public ways.
