Jill Tashara
My neice’s name is Jill Tashara Tate. She recently graduated from McNeese State University. She still lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she is currently playing the roll of “Beneatha” in Lorraine Hansberry’s play, “A Raisin In The Sun.” The play opens this weekend, January 17, 2009 in the Lake Charles Little Theatre, and, will run for 3 weeks. If you are living in the area you should stop by and see the play. The curtain raises a 7:30 p.m.
I have heard from everyone in my family who has seen her perform that Jill is a very talented actress. I regret that I have not had the chance to see her perform. One day I will. Jill, if you get to read this just know that I am very proud of you. “Break a leg.”

Thanks for the blog. It means a lot to me. The play has been going well. I think that my Mom and all of them are coming to the play on my birthday next week. I think that your blog is cool, reading it made me create my own…www.jttate.com there isn’t much on it yet, but I want to make it cool.
Hi Tony, we went to see the play on friday night and it was awesome. I hope that Jill will continue to act becaue she is very good at it. I was very proud of her and glad that mom and dad got to see her perform again. Joyce went with us and she said that the play was as good as a broadway play. Your blog said some really nice things about Jill, thank you.
