Moving To South Carolina

I am divorced since 2004. Before that I was separated in January 2001. During that 4 year period of separation my two kids lived with me here in Florida. We got along fine for a while, then, my son started acting out in school. He was seriously misbehaving. A child psychologist told me that he was basically acting out because he missed his mom. So, we switched places. The kids were to move.

They move to South Carolina at the end of the school year in 2005. I was supposed to have them on weekends, but, as soon as they left my work schedule seemed to kick into overdrive. And as they got older, and got involved in sports and school activities I saw less and less of them. So now I am moving to South Carolina.

I gave my 30 day notice today at my leasing office that I would not be renewing my lease. At the end of the month I will be moving out. I hope this will solve the problem of us not getting to see each other. While I am there I hope to got to school. I don’t know what I will study though. Maybe sound engineering or recording. There is an Art Institute there in Charleston.

I’m a little anxious. I don’t know anyone there except my kids, their mom, and her husband. I hate moving. I hate doing new things it would seem. Oh well.
