I Wonder

by Tony Tate on April 20, 2009

“I Wonder” is  a song I started writing around 1998 and never finished. Well, I finished it this past weekend. I have recorded ideas on my computer that I am drawing from for material. This is one that my 10 year old daughter had heard and like and, she asked when I was going to finish it. She probably doesn’t even remember, but, I am always intrigued if one of my kids likes a song or idea that I did. It is rare that they will say something to me about it if they do. So I sat down to finish this song. It is called I Wonder.

The song is about what I was feeling as a new husband and father with a baby girl on the way. I think the reason my daughter was intrigued by the song was the fact that she was mentioned in the song before she was born. No matter, I think she genuinely  likes the song. I think it is a good one. Please leave a comment about it.

I really think you are a true proffesional at song writing. The song is great and made me reflect in something that happened in my life as well. What type of probram are you using that makes it sound so good? You should also look into dedicating this as a real career.
