Hello and Welcome to the Mechanics of Faith podcast. If you are like me perhaps you have been a Christian for many years and have struggled with the idea of faith. Maybe you aren’t quite sure what faith really is but, after a little over 20 years of Christianity I am starting to get a clue about the mechanics of faith.

God’s Word Is The Anchor Of Faith

This is something we are supposed to know as Christians but for me it is just now sinking in, or maybe I knew at one time and forgot, but there is no faith without God’s word.

Faith Comes by Hearing God’s Word

Romans 10:17 says.. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Hearing the Word of God from a pastor or teacher or preacher can bring faith. However, I believe faith can come quicker when it is our own mouth speaking the word of God; when we are reading and studying the Word for ourselves.

It is my desire to encourage readers and listeners to begin studying the Word of God for yourselves. Don’t take my word for anything you read or hear at the Mechanics Of Faith. READ THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOURSELF! Study to show yourself approved. Build your faith on the Word of God.
