Mechanics Of Faith

My name is Tony Tate and I’m glad you are here. If you are like me perhaps you have been a Christian for many years and have struggled with the idea of faith. Maybe you aren’t quite sure what faith really is. After a little over 20 years of Christianity I am starting to get a clue about the mechanics of faith.

God’s Word Is The Anchor Of Faith

This is something we are supposed to know as Christians but for me it is just now sinking in, or maybe I knew at one time and forgot.There is no faith without God’s word.

Faith Comes by Hearing God’s Word

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

Hearing the word from a pastor or teacher or preacher brings faith. However, faith can come quicker when it is our own mouth speaking the word of God.

My hope on this site is to share my own growth in the area of faith through the articles written and provided here. There are many teachers on the subject who are more qualified than me and I will provide links to their resources also. I am just a layman who would like to be able to help others. Faith is not that hard. It’s really simple if you follow God’s instruction.
