$27.29
June 27, 2011
I have changed quite a bit in the last few years. I am always changing I suppose. Growing up I don’t think I was ever an aggressive person in any way. However, back in 2000 when my life began to disintegrate I found that I could be pushed into aggression. And it spread to every area of my life. Here is an example. In 2001, back when you had to have long distance phone service on your home phone if you were going to make long distance calls, AT&t acquired my long distance account without my knowledge. I immediately cancelled my service and began to use my cell phone for long distance calls. Then I got a bill from AT&t, for $27.29. I told them I wasn’t going to pay it because I didn’t authorize the switch of my long distance.
Well, they turned it over to a collection agency. I only got one letter from the collection agency. Here is my response to that letter:
The Letter
I don’t think so. As I stated to ATT, I have never asked for their service. As for you people, DON’T F#%KIN THREATEN ME! You and ATT can kiss my ass. I didn’t ask for their service, and, as soon as I found out they had switched my long distance service I cancelled it. So when I decide to send the $27.29 is when you will get it. In the mean time don’t send anymore of your threats to my home.
I hope I have made myself clear in this matter. If not I will contact my attorney. Thank you for your patience. Now leave me alone.
Now days I am not likely to talk to anyone this way, or, even write such a letter. I was separated, living the single parent life, and in emotional pain. I’m better now. I don’t think I ever sent the $27.29 though.
